I spent my birthday, Monday, September 8th, driving around Winona Lake and Pierceton and taking photographs. In Pierceton, the people that own the old train depot recently purchased a single train car that now sits behind the building. I love anything that is old, rustic, and forgotten, so needless to say, I was thrilled to see it.

I love to walk around the park in Winona Lake. It's so calm and peaceful there. They have wonderful benches and chairs that you can sit and read or just take in the view of the lake.

For my birthday, my husband surprised me with flowers. I can't recall the last time I received flowers. They were a beautiful surprise. Unfortunately, they're brownish and wilted now, but at least I have the photos to remember them.
